COLLABORATION

In partnership with Petaling Jaya Performing Arts Centre (PJPAC), AFA invites performing arts practitioners, producers, and collectives across Malaysia to collaborate, co-create, showcase, innovate and push the boundaries of performance together.

We welcome proposals for collaboration in the following areas:
  • Co-Production – Gain access to rehearsal spaces, basic technical support, and artistic feedback to develop new works. For selected projects, AFA may take on a producing role—covering partial production costs and offering venue, technical, and marketing support.
  • Venue Access – Enjoy discounted or subsidized venue rates for under-resourced projects and independent collectives. Our team also provides scheduling guidance to help bring your vision to life.
  • Works-in-Progress Showcases – Test and refine your material through low-tech studio presentations in front of a live audience. Receive constructive, facilitated feedback to strengthen your work.
  • Technical Management Consultancy – Learn from industry experts through professional guidance and knowledge sharing on lighting, rigging, sound design, and other technical areas essential to performance.
  • Festival Collaboration – Partner with AFA to co-host or co-programme arts festivals. We welcome opportunities to contribute our expertise, networks, and team on collaborative festival projects.
